LIME JUICE & PINK SALT

There are many products on the market that claim to help with cleansing and detoxing the body, but one of the simplest and most effective options is just a glass of water, a squeeze of lime juice and pink salt added to it. 

Salt has many important functions in the body, including nourishing the adrenals, which are responsible for hormones related to energy levels, mood, and stress management.

Cortisol is one such hormone, which is known as the stress hormone, but it's important to manage it efficiently, not eliminate it completely. Ideally, cortisol levels should be highest in the morning and lowest in the evenings, which can be achieved by resetting the body's natural clock, or biorhythm. 

Adding lime juice and pink salt to a splash of water can help with this, as salt helps with cortisol shifts and also has a positive impact on intestinal health. 

Lime juice is also alkaline, which helps re-alkalize the body in the morning and supports optimal energy production in the cells. 

 

To make this simple drink:-

 

squeeze one lime into a glass, add 1/4 tsp of colored salt (such as Celtic Sea Salt or Pink Himalayan Salt), stir for 10 seconds, then add some cold bottled water (around 50-100ml) and drink it every morning upon waking.

This easy fix can improve energy levels, support adrenal function, manage cortisol, and reset the biorhythm.
